Specifications for new 2025 steel 14,000 L water tank:
Water Tank
• 14,000 L steel water cart tank. Tank sides, ends and baffles pressed for greater strength.
• High quality surface treatment and internal paint system.
• Steel guards with flexible mudflaps will be fitted.
• Top fill funnel for standpipe filling, fitted off centre for ease of standpipe alignment, fitted with lockable cover.
• Road legal dump valve at highway level, 1" Ball valve.
• Splash guard around the front of the water tank preventing water run off over front of tank.
• Remote gearbox breather fitted.
• Spring mounted to new 6X4 Sitrak G5S 6x4 AUTO.
Pumping equipment and hydraulics:
• Southern Cross water pump size 100 x 65 x 250 hydraulically driven by Permco 48 cc hydraulic motor close coupled, low maintenance with no coupling required.
• Hot shift PTO for hydraulic circuit
• Pressure relief valve on hydraulic circuit pressure set on commissioning.
• Behind cab hydraulic tank with 200 L of 68 grade hydraulic oil with high flow spin on return filter.
• WS Heavy duty hose reel manual rewind 1" rubber hose and adjustable firefighting nozzle.
• 3 x 3" Spray Head valves Air operated from in-cab control box. Left, Right, centre, sprays.
• Quick exhausts valves fitted to all valves for quicker action.
• 1 x 3" discharge outlet with manual valve for water transfer duties.
• 3" Rear fill point at chassis level with ball valve, cam lock fitting and cap.
• Pipe work set up with creek suction for self-filling,
• 2 X Gravity Fed Drops bars
• Elkhart Brass 65 mm Nitro electric water cannon, Heavy duty swivels, made in the USA. Straight stream nozzle, Optional electric adjustable nozzle available as an option.
• Pressure relief valve on water circuit to prevent cavitation of water pump when sprays are closed.

Safety:
• Safety labels around the vehicle and on the tank module for identification.
• Safety hand railing with stairway, new quick fold down system, lays down in 1 motion saving time and eliminates lost railing during mobilisations. Blasted and painted Safety yellow. - Can supply without railing if preferred.
• Nonslip surface to top of tank.
• Tested and tagged 2 X 9 KG dry powder fire extinguisher fitted to over centre holding bracket, fitted to ROPS
• High Vis reflective yellow tape around the vehicle 75 mm width.
• Operators and spare parts manual in cab.
• Certified ROPS fitted
• Front mounted spare wheel carrier.
• Warranty on tank: 12 months manufacturer’s warranty on parts and labour. Excluding consumable items.
